Event Description

BIKES NOT BOMBS’ 23rd Annual BIKE-A-THON!
June 6th, 2010

Ride with Bikes Not Bombs (BNB) to support unique bicycle-based social justice work, through youth programs in Boston and the donation of over 5,000 bicycles annually to Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. As a grassroots organization, BNB depends on YOU to join the ride to keep this work going in its 26th year!

Choose from three scenic rides: 15, 25, or 65 miles. Join hundreds of other riders and roll at your own pace! The 15-miler is especially great for families with children. We provide mechanics check-ups, rest stops with food and drink, maps of the beautiful routes, lead riders, support vehicles, great prizes, and a gourmet meal at your afterparty - the Green Roots Rides Festival! Rides start and end in Jamaica Plain, 02130. Pre-registration is required, and riders must raise a minimum of $150 of pledges for BNB. Register on our website - www.bikesnotbombs.org - or call 617-522-0222.

It's not too late! When you register on our website you can make your own online fundraising page - just email out the link and people can sponsor you online with a credit card. Also, you don't need to turn in all your fundraising money on June 6th, you just need to at least have pledges that people will sponsor you. Join us!
