What a year it's been for NOMAS-Boston!
Join us for our Fall Kick-Off and Visioning - to celebrate the past year and the many new connections we've made at:
-our Annual Supply Drive for domestic violence shelters
-Pro-Feminist Men's Discussion Groups (and first ever retreat!)
-BARCC Walk
-Dyke March
-and most recently a protest of Tucker Max's film
We've learned throughout the last few years that there are many ways to be a man/masculine and we look forward to exploring our similarities and differences in the coming year. At this Kick-Off we'll brainstorm ideas for ways to build a stronger pro-feminist community in Boston.
One of the primary goals of this event is to get a sense of what new projects the NOMAS-Boston community wants to organize in the coming year (and which annual events we want to continue), and to see who would be willing to step up to help see those projects to completion.
Whether we've seen lots of you lately, it's been awhile since you've been to an event or you've been planning to check us out - come and join us for an afternoon of food, friends, and visioning! ALL GENDERS WELCOMED!
Potluck dishes welcomed by not required.
Check out photos below for a photo year in review!

ABOUT NOMAS-BOSTON
The Boston chapter of the National Organization for Men Against Sexism (NOMAS-Boston) is a profeminist community-building and activist organization, open to all genders, that works to promote equality and justice in the areas of race, sex, gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation. We seek a greater understanding of the ways in which these identity-based experiences interconnect within individuals and society at large. As an organization committed to social justice and nonviolence we strive to create feelings of closeness and connection for men in order to enhance the lives of our membership and all people with whom we interact.
