Lyndon Fuller and JP-based cellist Jeremy Harman ( myspace.com/jeremyharman) team up to bring 4 nights of string quartet music to the Alchemist Lounge, every Tuesday night in October (10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27). Featuring current and former students of New England Conservatory, the Longy School of Music, and Boston Conservatory, as well as members of A Far Cry Chamber Orchestra ( afarcry.org) and the Samurai String Squad, this October residency is all about stripping classical music of its often perceived stiffness and formality, throwing a couple of pints into the mix and seeing what comes out on the other end. Forget the tired old bar bands you see everywhere else, come out to the Alchemist and feed your mind and your beer-gut. All shows are free and start at 10pm. 21+.
