Description:About John Colvert Friends, For those of you who know me, I want to thank you for being here, by my side, as I strap on the shoes that have been sitting by the door for far too long. You have all inspired me in one form or another, for better or for worse, to gather my thoughts long enough to do what I have been promising to do for a long time. For those of you who don’t yet know me I am in the process of writing my first collection of songs. With a full heart and a few close friends I have slowly been recording tracks at the studio at Northeastern University. So far I have been producing the material myself and expect to have my first release out sometime in 2010. Until then I will post the new songs as they finish (and as I work on them) here on myspace. The first of these songs is titled “This Is No Home”. I can only hope that all of you join me on my journey. This road is filled with new people and familiar faces and I couldn’t be more excited to get on my way.
