Description:The Samurai String Squad are a recently formed band of string players (a cello quartet in it's current incarnation) based in JP who will be bringing their shaolin-style attacks and original arrangements of some familiar tunes to the Alchemist Lounge for a two week residency in early April! With roots in classical music and a shared love for 90's alternative rock anthems, the Squad is going to mix it all together and see what comes out at the end... featuring the music of Soundgarden, Metallica, and Stone Temple Pilots among others, as well as some classical jams and original music for solo cello by Jeremy Harman.
