Ethos, a local non-profit promoting the independence and dignity of elders, is in need of volunteers to assist at a Flag Retirement Ceremony this Veterans Day, 11/11/11.

This event, held at the Gardens of Gethsemane, will feature an 11:30 ceremony including the ceremonial burning of American flags by local boy scouts.  After the ceremony, a BBQ lunch will be served in heated tents to the 500 seniors in attendance!  Our main need is for help serving lunch.  This is a fun and enriching opportunity to support veterans and local seniors.
