Hi everyone,
My girlfriend and I live on Jamaica Street, and we've had almost daily mail theft. This started about 6 weeks ago, and when we noticed it we put a 30 day hold on the mail. When the 30 day hold expired, the theft started almost immediately again. We have had three checks and a debit card stolen.

Has anyone else had this problem? Given the pattern with us, there must be someone walking down our street on an almost daily basis, and probably checking numerous houses.

This person (or people) should not be hard to catch. If we organize as neighbors, we should be able to make the police take notice (when we spoke to them about it at the JP station, they told us it wasn't under their jurisdiction and we should talk to the Postal Inspector).
