Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

I have some friends who live in England who have arranged for a five hour stop over in Boston. We'd rather not spend all of our time in the airport, but I don't know of anyplace fun to go nearby. Anybody? We'd be on the T and we like beer.

I'd suggest posting this question on our East Boston network http://eastboston.neighborsforneighbors.org

There is a cool art Gallery off Maverick Street, I also suggest Mama Blanco also on Maverick. Awesome Soft Tacos.
Just hop on the Blue line MBTA and take it in to the Aquarium stop. You will exit the station right at the bottom of State Street, at the waterfront. You can walk down the new Rose Kennedy Greenway, see the harbor from Rowe's wharf, and wander into Fanueil Hall and the North End. There are many great places for a pint within 5 minutes or less walk of the Aquarium stop. Cheers!
Hey thanks.

We ended up at a commuter bar on State St. Then realized we had enough time to head to the North End, so we went at got some pies at Pizza Regina. Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I was really nervous about it and we had a great time before putting them back on a a plane.
