Hi all,

I just wanted to alert you to some recent disturbing events. We experienced some yard vandalism and attempted break-in late Saturday night on Hubbard Street. Our unit is the middle unit of a 3-duplex-wide building; our fenced/gated backyard was entered and some beverages were stolen from the deck, and some items in the yard were displaced. Additionally, the intruders attempted to enter our bulkhead with no success, and ripped a screen on the first floor, in an attempt to enter our house.

In addition, a friend that lives on Chestnut received a phone call from their security company during the day on Thursday, alerting them to an attempted break-in (which thankfully resulted in no damage.)

While everyone is safe and minimal damages were endured, these shady happenings have been going on and it is disheartening, to say the least. Be safe and aware of your surroundings! Please report anything suspicious to police.
