Hey Dave! I'm a half-decent self-taught electric/upright bassist and singer (on and off professional for the last 15 years), as well as a mandolin enthusiast (read: hack, but with aspirations), lousy concertina player, and all-around fan of just playing music.

Most of my musical life took place either in the Amherst, MA area or up in Gloucester, and I've had very little chance to do any playing since moving to JP - the three-year-old daughter and work schedule have kind of decimated that, but I'm trying to rally and do some more playing. I'm not a great front man in that I am terrible with remembering lyrics and pulling out songs on the fly, but once I know a chord progression I usually have the song for life.

Let's see if we can round up a few more people and get an old-fashioned jam going!
