Ms. Amory,
Welcome and thank you for joining Our Border, a D.H.S managed social network where we are communicating, collaborating, and
sharing best practices to address border issues we all care
about
Here are some next steps:
1) Understand how we're using the features on the network:
GROUPS: Groups are serve as topical discussions areas for geographic regions, industries, and causes. In groups, members
participate by reading, replying, and adding
discussions.
EVENTS: Events are how we share happenings with the entire community.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements are where DHS, Partners, and Members can submit content to be featured on the main page that
generally applies to all members and is not specific to existing
groups.
PHOTOS and VIDEOS: Are how we visually communicate our interests and what happened at happenings.
STATUS UPDATES: In less than 140 characters, status updates are where we quickly share thoughts or promote content on another site. You can add a status update on your"My Page".
2) Review the OurBorder User Guideline, where we explain what actions we take and the spirit in which we take them.
3) Join groups of interest and reply to or add discussions. You can also add an event, photo, or video. The How-To page might come in handy.
