OPEN AUDITIONS

Gardner's Regiment is holding Open Auditions for persons interested in becoming Drummers, Fifers or Pipers. Gardner's Regiment is Boston's only 18th Century Militia Reenactment Group. Gardner's participates in a wide variety of activities and events. It is a hobby dedicated to providing both entertainment and Colonial American educational activities. Loring Greenough House

Built in 1760, this historic house is owned by the Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club (a 19th century women’s reform movement club) the house now serves the community as a venue for music and educational and is available for weddings and special events.

"Some people think it is appropriate to simply throw the bag of poop into anyone's trash barrell - NO - take it home and flush it in your own toilet, or wrap it well and put it in your own barrell. Two days in my barrell and the stench of poop…"

Stop the Poop!

A continuous problem since we moved into the neighborhood are (some) owners who are un-neighborly in terms of managing their dogs' poops. It would be sad if those (few) that are not complying to ruin it for all the considerate owners out there.See More

Colonial Encampment at Loring Greenough House at Across from the Civil War Monument

August 14, 2010 from 11am to 4pm
Come meet members of Boston's only Colonial reenactment group, Gardner's Regiment, at Loring Greenough House in Jamaica Plain on August 14, 2010 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Talks, demonstrations and tours of Loring Greenough House will be held thru the entire day. All are welcome and admission is free.
