I was struggling yesterday morning to clear a path in the heavy snow on my front porch and steps so I could take my two small dogs on their morning "walk." A senior citizen with a chronic pain disease in a major flare up from the winter cold, I could hardly lift the deep heavy snow and my dogs could not move around in it.
In the midsts of my dilemma, a stranger walked up the street toward my house. She saw my situation and immediately asked if she could help shovel me out so I could take my dogs down the steps and to a cleared sidewalk next door. What a blessing. I do not know what I would have done without her assistance. Thank you so much Cynthia Stacey from Chestnut Ave. You are a wonderful, caring person, a real neighbor.
Sincerely,
Barbara Hatfield
