Would like a great studio/1br/in-law apt

I'd like a great place for myself in delightful JP. I'm a consultant who works some from home. I've excellent long-term JP references. No pets, but happy to pet-sit yours. Flexible move-in date (soon is good). Contact Pam at 617-522-4956 or pam 'at' pamelakristan 'dot' com.

Please note, I won't respond to shared situations or locations outside JP.

Babysitting Services. Years of Experience and References Available!

My name is Zoey and I am a 22 year old senior at Northeastern. I moved to Jamaica Plain in July and would love to find some families who need sitters! I have ten years experience with children of all ages and have previously lifeguarded and taught swim lessons for children ages 3 to 15. In the past I worked at MGH in the newborn unit giving hearing tests to the new babies.

I have a very flexible schedule in August. Once classes begin in September, I will be available nights and…

Black pitbull dog roaming JP this evening (May 6)

Hi all,

Just saw a large black pitbull roaming up Chestnut (from Mozart in the direction of Stony Brook) about half an hour ago (6:15ish). I called Animal Control who said they'd "see if they could send someone out," and MSPCA and ARL were closed/not answering phones when I called.

Keep an eye out so we can help get that guy/gal home and also make sure our neighbors are safe!

He didn't seem aggressive - didn't hear any growling/barking and I saw him walk past a couple…

What are you ideas on how to meet neighbors?

Neighbors,

All the snow this past winter was challenging, but as a community we got through it together. We got through it together because over 1,567 of you volunteered to help shovel out your neighbors in need via Snowcrew.org.

While snowcrew.org is an awesome tool, it does not address the root problem of us not knowing who are our neighbors are. If we all knew our…

Have you seen a black cat??

Our cat ran away yesterday morning from the corner of Carolina and Everett. She is black with a white spot under her chin and one white toe. She is 18 years old and fairly skinny but in good health. She's also not super friendly to strangers but has a very sweet heart. If anyone sees her would you please let me know?
Thanks! Rachel (617-905-4646)
