Hurricane season starts on June 1st and again we are uncertain what it will bring this year. Could we have to deal with another Sandy? Well, let’s hope not. Recently I read that the township of Brick and a few other New Jersey cities chose the geotube system for their oceanfront protection. Geotubes are made of a material invented by TenCate, an American-Dutch company, and I happen to be the creator of an infographic that explains how the geotube system works, so I thought it would be nice to share with you this beautiful infographic that shows how geotubes protect our beautiful beaches.
