The first of three in the Our Economy event series will examine the effects the current recession is having on public service. In “Good Works: Can a Bad Economy Make for Better Citizens?” we'll explore the economy's effect on young adults' desire - and ability - to engage in public service. Is it easier? Harder? Panelists will share stories of success and challenge - and we'll have plenty of time for audience members to engage with each other and with the panelists.

Panelists include Joshua Biber from Teach for America, Thomas Clark, M.D. from Grassroots Soccer, Elizabeth Clay from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Commonwealth Corps, and Adam Mazo of Reconciliation's Reach.
RealTalk is MassINC's series of events especially targeted to 20-40 year olds who are interested in public policy and civic engagement.
