The Home Depot is offering a free preparedness workshop this Saturday at the Home Depot at the South Bay Shopping Center (5 Allstate Rd, Boston, MA 02125) and many other location up and down the east coast 9:00am to 10:30am.
These workshops are designed to help residents in hurricane-affected markets prepare their homes, families and businesses for a possible hurricane. Attendees will learn about generator safety; sizing generators for specific home or business needs; what to include in an emergency/disaster preparedness kit; how to safely store their valuables; and projects they can do to protect their homes in the event of a storm.
