Opportunity for fiber network from google

Hello neighbors!

I am not usually an advocate, but this was something I thought could be a great opportunity for the JP community. Google is going to be setting up high speed test networks and are looking for communities who have an interest in having them come in and work with them. It seems like a great opportunity to have fiber to the home finally -- something that Verizon, RCN and Comcast still are not offering yet.

I am posting this in the hope that others, who have an interest in high speed networks here in JP, will post to to google hoping to get them to deploy the test network here in our community.

Thanks for your time and consideration,
Josh

JP's diversity would help to make for a really great application, I think. Google would get to see how the service affects all types of people. Plus RCN doesn't service everyone, so some of us are stuck with no broadband option. Putting in an application is easy, but there is a optional section for:

"Web link to supporting material (YouTube videos and other creative submissions are encouraged!)"

Does anyone have any ideas for this?
