Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Neighbors,

As we gather with family and friends over the next couple of days
let's reflect on all there is to be grateful for and how we can be of
service to each other.

At the moment, I'm grateful for the awesome posts people have been making on the network today. Seriously, where else can you learn about a holiday recipe for Tofurkey and see a home made video about Safety on the T uploaded by a Sgt Krause from our local police station?

Let's share what we're grateful for to expand our appreciation for each
other, our neighborhood, and our lives. Let's also share ideas on how we can of service to each other. Think about what your neighbors might need and appreciate over the coming months.

To share, please add blog posts, and to engage, read and leave comments.

Your grateful neighbor - Joseph from Beecher Street.

PS: I added tabs to the Neighbors Menu (at the top of the page) between "About" and "Forum" for our Liaison to the Mayors Office Colleen Keller, and to Sgt. Krause and Captain Greland from BPD to make it easier for you to find and interact with them.

Joseph, I am so grateful for living in a community where people care about each other, where a city becomes a neighborhood, and where people are prized for individuality and distinctness rather than fitting into a mold. Grateful also to be able to have a business here and get to see and meet more and more neighbors every day. One love, JP!

I am grateful for living in a neighborhood where, when my plans upended and I found myself without a home, ten different people offered me a place to live and recover. I only personally knew 4 of those people. Absolutely amazing. Happy Thanksgiving, JP!!!

I'm grateful for all the great dogs and great dog owners I see every day down at Southwest Corridor Park. Rudy loves it too (woof!)
