Hi JP Neighbors,
Come out to the Whose Foods Rally on Monday, 2/28! There's a lot of momentum right now in the opposition to Whole Foods coming to JP, but the most vital piece of the resistance is the voice of community members. We need people to come together and show by numbers that there is strong opposition to a Whole Foods in JP. See below for details.
Mon, February 28th, 6pm, Mozart Park
Then come to a hearing of the JP Neighborhood Council at 7pm at the Kennedy School
Do you want a JP that’s affordable for all families? Do you want to strengthen JP’s diversity?
Whole Foods is not inevitable ‐ another business can flourish in Hyde Square.
JP has a 30‐year history of residents working together to keep JP intact.
We stopped a highway. We stopped Kmart. We can stop Whole Foods.
Whole Foods in unaffordable to many families in JP and the expansion of this upscale chain into Hyde Square will drive up real estate and commercial prices, displacing even more low‐income families and merchants – many of the very people who made JP the great place it is today.
Hyde Square is home to families of all income levels and many cultures. Let’s keep it that way.

Detuvimos Kmart. Podemos detener a Whole Foods.
