That's so sad that people died, I was so sad to hear that (I just went by there asked a woman hanging around...there are a bunch of people up there). Earlier tonight I had just come out of the Verizon store and was sitting in my car talking on my (new) phone and heard the shots. Funny I thought nothing of them, so many noises we have. But a passerby was flattening himself against the wall and told me to call 911--I couldn't tell where the shots were coming from when they happened but he knew it was Same Old Place (and that there was a gun). I go there all the time too. I was told just now that no employees of Same Old Place died and a "kid" died (presumably a teen or young adult), but that is not from an official source.

I have to tell you-it's unsettling to feel the need to duck down under the dashboard of your car in your own neighborhood, like in a movie.
