The "Your Location" kept resetting to "City Hall, Boston" every 3-4 seconds when I was trying to sign up with groundcrew.com. I eventually circumnavigated it by writing my address in another file and copying it, then pasting it into the buggy text-box on groundcrew.com and quickly hitting enter when the map updated. I had this problem in Chrome and in Internet Explorer. I left a message for the folks at groundcrew.com, but people here who signed up might want to check their groundcrew.com profile and confirm that their address is correct. Unless of course you actually live at City Hall.
As an update, a moderator from the GroundCrew.com site contacted me back and said they are aware of the buggy interface and are working to fix it right now. Again, just check your address listing in your groundcrew.com profile.
Chad here from Groundcrew. We fixed the mapping problems you were having, and maps to set your location should update properly now.
Also, you can set your location via cell phone. Just text in to 617-394-1588 with "at" followed by an address. The address should be something that Google Maps would recognize. You can update your location as you move from snowdrift to snowdrift, or when you're at work and not near a shovel. :-)
