Does anyone love Ethiopiques? Debo Band does. We are a JP-based band, playing music from the "classic" period of Ethiopian music - with East African modes and rhythms, partnered with American influences of Jazz and Funk, and the instrumentation of Eastern European brass bands!

We're playing a show at the Milky Way tomorrow night 4/25 (Friday), with a smokin' Ethiopian DJ from New York, and Jack Ohly from Philadelphia, a member of the amazing West Philly Orchestra. We would love you to join us.
