You’re invited to a frightening evening with Divine Stage Works, featuring a staged reading of The Haunting of Hill House by F. Andrew Leslie and based on the book by Shirley Jackson. The amazing Hill House cast includes: Elissa Jordan, Tom Morf, Sharon Martin, Jennifer Bean, Lynne Lori Sylvan, Brian Moyer, Jim Ansart, and Lindsey Darling.

Encompassing the delightful terror of the Halloween spirit, this gothic horror classic tells the tale of a group of unacquainted guests trapped in a secluded old house. When paranormal activity begins to ensue all hell breaks loose!

The Taylor House Bed and Breakfast, operated within a gracious Victorian home at 50 Burroughs Street, Jamaica Plain, will host the readings on October 21 & 22, 2011 at 8 p.m.  Opening night will feature a Palm Reader where guests can get their palm read for a suggested donation. Both evenings also include an opportunity to win a Ouija Board through the purchase of a raffle ticket.

Each of the readings will be followed by a complimentary reception sponsored by Notch Session.

The Haunting of Hill House is part of the PlaYces staged reading series, performed by Divine Stage Works and hosted by Jamaica Plain partners UFORGE Gallery, the Taylor House B&B and the Loring-Greenough House.  The final of the three-part series, the 18^th Century comedy She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith will take place at the historic Loring-Greenough House on November 10 & 11, 2011 at 8 p.m.
