Greenwalks August will be at the 527 acre Franklin Park where we will see what is happening around Scarboro Pond. Built in the early 1890's, a chain of ponds was intended by for aestetics and recreation. While its popularity continues to this day with people, we'll examine what non-human inhabitatnts enjoy living in and utilizing Olmstead's vision.
Greenwalks will meets at 9am. Meet at the Forest Hills Entrance to Franklin Park, corner of Forest Hills Avenue and the Arborway, Jamaica Plain.
