Over the last year, Boston has contended with the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard Nemo and the Marathon bombing and subsequent lockdown. This fall, climate experts are predicting a big storm season, with 3-6 major hurricanes. It's time to get prepared!
To help you prepare, NeighborsForNeighbors is partnering with the Jamaica Plain Forum and the Jamaica Plain New Economy Transition to promote the formation of small neighborhood “Preparedness Pie Parties.” The purpose of the pie parties is to help you get to know your neighbors and put in place some very basic measures to strengthen our neighborhood response.
