Where: The URBANO Project, Jamaica Plain Brewery Complex
29 Germania Street, Jamaica Plain

When: Friday, April 16th, 6-8PM

In 2008-2009, four young musicians at the Hyde Square Task Force came together to create an album of original music about their lives. Lewis Hine Documentary Fellow Christina Wegs documented their journey in photographs, audio and video. The project is a celebration of the transformative power of music-making, and of the unique voices of these four talented young artists.

This project was produced with the support of the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, The Philanthropic Initiative and the Hyde Square Task Force. Thanks to the URBANO Project for generously hosting this exhibit. Thanks also to the Berklee College of Music and the Music and Youth Initiative, for their support of the music studio at the Hyde Square Task Force.
