"I hope Jeawon's murder marks a turning point for the people of Boston and Bromley Heath. I hope we look back at this sad event, and say this was when we finally decided to stop this kind of thing. We can do better - yes, we can."

The Official Grand Opening of the SWCP was May 5, 1990...

We (the SW Corridor Park Conservancy) are planning to coordinate the 20 Year Anniversary with Wake Up the Earth (and many others) on Saturday, May 1st (see attached document).Stopping I-95, moving the Orange Line, and creating a 4.7 mile award-winning park took united action from the South End, Roxbury, and JP. It is an achievement worth commemorating... and an opportunity to raise the park's profile which will help the park be better served!I am on the Anniversary Organizing Committee - how…See More

Dan, I represent a group called JP Bikes. We encourage cycling in JP and advocate for cyclists interests. Joe Porcelli suggests that the swcpc could be helpful in getting some security concerns addressed on the SWC. You may have heard that a cyclist was recently attached behind the Jackson Sq. T station. I have emailed Sgt. Krause at E-13 and Nicole Freedman at the Mayor's office. Please let me know what else we can do to improve security in this area. Thanks in advance for your help.
