In response to the Neighbors for Neighbors 2008 Survey where over 50% of those who took the survey said they wanted more activity-based events and groups, we created the Jamaica Plain Organizing Network.

Unlike our last organizing model comprised of our blog, google groups, and hope, we created a one-stop shop for residents of Jamaica Plain to create, get members, organize, and communicate what they are working on to make a difference.

We also heard loud and clear that those who took our survey said they wanted to meet their actual neighbors on their actual street. To meet your neighbors on your street please also join the Jamaica Plain Neighbors Network.
