Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Neighbors,

I'm setting a goal to grow our network to 60,000 neighbors strong. Bold, but possible.

Our attempt to operate 18 neighborhood social networks in 2009 and 2010 did not exactly work. I'll spare you the details...

Instead of giving up (not an option for us), we've made our JP network the citywide network and are now setting in motion our plan to become 60,000 neighbors strong.

As of this morning, we are 2,533 strong. Our goal is to have 6% of the Boston population on Neighbors for Neighbors. Imagine what we can accomplish if we work together as a city of united neighbors, non-profit organizations, and public servants!

Neighbors for Neighbors seeks to be where Bostonians connect and collaborate online to bring us together in person and in service to each other.

To start us off, I've asked the first of what will be a series of "citywide conversations": what should we do as neighbors this spring and why?

Our hope is that by starting citywide conversations we'll spark citywide action and collaboration in a way never seen before in Boston! The outcomes we are working towards are to improve quality of life and safety and to increase justice and equity for all Bostonians.
As a volunteer run and funded operation we need your help to make this work. You can help by:
