Here is a great event happening in our neighborhood this weekend!
826 Boston Writing Program to celebrate their published writers!
In celebration of "Thanks and Have Fun Running the Country" 826 Boston will be hosting a book reading and signing on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at 11:00 am, in collaboration with the Egleston Square Branch Library. Join us at 2044 Columbus Ave to hear the wisdom of our student writers and pick up your copy of the book!
Friday, January 16th's New York Times featured letters to President elect Obama from 826 students across the country, including our very own Pamela Mejia!
A selection of these letters to President elect Obama was also featured in "Thanks and Have Fun Running the Country," a collaboration between all 826 writing centers. "Thanks and Have Fun Running the Country" is available for purchase here on 826 Boston's website and at the Greater Boston Bigfoot Research Institute.
