Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Deliver a meal to an elderly person for Easter/Passover!

Would you like to spend one day doing something for someone else? Volunteer with Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly for EASTER! This is a great opportunity for a family, group, or individual volunteer.

Our organization provides companionship to low-income elders in the city of Boston. Our elders are over 70, live on less than $8000 a year, and have no one to spend the holiday with. Visiting Volunteers will bring a meal and flowers to an elder and spend time visiting with them. Most importantly, they will bring compassion and caring.

Our elders resign in all neighborhoods of Boston-including JP! Meals and flowers will be picked up at Northeastern University.

If you're interested in visiting an elder on Easter Sunday, please e-mail Megan at volunteer.bos@littlebrothers.org, or call 617-524-8882. You will need to fill out a brief application and CORI form.

Per Massachusetts law, all volunteers must pass a criminal background check. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
