Our Community-Based Mentoring Program is a one-on-one relationship between adult women with girls ages 7-15.  Big and Little Sisters choose when, where and what they do to build a bond based on shared interests and experiences. Visits are weekly and last three to four hours; after you have been together for 3 months, you may meet twice per month. Once you’ve reached your 1 year anniversary, we will continue to encourage and support you and your Little Sister for the life of your match! We ask Big Sisters to commit to at least 12 months.

Our School-Based Mentoring program creates a unique one-to-one mentoring relationship between a Big and Little Sister during the school day. Big and Little Sisters meet for 45-60 minutes during the Little Sister's lunch time or after school program. "Matches" do everything from read, color, play basketball, whatever they may be interested in together! You meet throughout the academic year, keep in touch via letters or e-mails over the summer months, and resume match meetings in September. There are school sites all over the Greater Boston area including Cambridge, Allston/Brighton, Charlestown, and Quincy.
