Whole Foods or Trader Joe's: We have voice, let it be heard!!

Neighbors,

I just blogged about Hi-Lo closing.

I'm curious, which would you rather, Whole Food or Trader Joe's or what alternatives would you suggest?

How would this benefit our community and who would it hurt?

If we feel strongly about this, we can weigh in. Before we do, we need to carefully take into who our who really represents - and work to ensure all voices are heard.

Trader Joe's would be great, (but I would also be happy to have Whole Foods here).  Trader Joe's is obviously more affordable, just unpredictable for some things.

Why does it have to be one or the other Joseph?  The removal of Hi-Lo is just another sign of gentrification and it's also going to strike against diversity and affordable foods.  We already have a City Feed and a Harvest Market.  I mean seriously.

TRADER JOE'S, because it's awesome, and so our whole community can afford to shop, not just the yuppies. KEEP WHOLE FOODS OUT OF JAMAICA PLAIN!
