Event Description

BLACK GOLD!

Ever heard of it?

No, you say?
Well, it’s is truly the stuff dreams are made of. It’s dark, crumbly, and has an earthly smell. From it, rosy tomatoes reach towards the sky, spiny cucumbers crawl over trellises, and nature’s bounty drops at your feet.

COMPOST is black gold for gardeners of all levels.

Now’s the time to make your own if you aren’t already!

The workshop is free and open to everyone.
It’s taking place on a vacant lot in Egleston Square that is being reclaimed for community green space. Come find out how to make a compost bin and how to compost!
