Celebrate a great year for FPC at our annual meeting featuring award-winning Boston Globe journalist, Derrick Z. Jackson. Come early and mingle with fellow members and park lovers. Hear about upcoming events and projects. Light refreshments will be served.
Learn more about Derrick Z. Jackson on his Globe webpage. Mr. Jackson previously wrote a feature mentioning Franklin Park titled ”The Return of the Trees”. You can read it here. He also writes articles that focus on youth, graduation rates for college athletes, race inequities, public health, the outdoors, and environmental issues. We are very excited to have him as our 2013 speaker.
