Festival Garden in JP is the large raised bed that is next to the basket ball court at Stony Brook T in the Southwest Corridor Park.  The intention is to grow food that can be picked by anyone, raspberries, strawberries, herbs, whatever we plant.  As part of this project there will be opportunities to be artistic (we should make the planting arrangements look ornamental), to learn about horticulture and permaculture, and to educate others about urban agriculture.

We'll be there this Sunday, June 26th, at 12 noon until 5:00pm during the Bikes Not Bombs - Green Roots Festival (unless it rains again).  Stop by and help, give us your ideas or just chat.
