Gross conditions in some JP restaurants

Curious how your favorite place stacks up? You can search the Boston city health inspection database by name and/or neighborhood (I just selected JP to see all the restaurants.)

Well, after seeing the long list of health code violations at one of my favorite restaurants, it's no longer on my list! Apparently the city had reports of rodents eating food off the floors, they've been routinely cited for not storing food properly, poor worker sanitation, etc.

Another Health Code Fail: a certain pub/restaurant....numerous, repeated failed inspections and a hearing. Yikes!

Thanks Brett - I did get alarmed when I first saw the title, that's what made me write. Had family here over the weekend which included meals at a few places, so I was relieved to see they fared well in their inspections, along with some other favorites.
Anyway, great resource and thanks again for the info!
(kinda dying to know the place that's no longer on your list...can probably guess if I keep clicking)

Peter, I checked a number of places and some popular places have some atrocious results. I didn't want to single out a specific restaurant. Still, I changed the header, you're right- the headline didn't mean to imply ALL JP restaurants are gross!

OK - "some" is a fair change :D

Thanks for the link, but I think your header is a tad sensationalistic!
I searched about a dozen JP establishments and found they all regularly pass inspection.
