Proposal to Build 5-Unit Development at 71 South St.

There is currently a proposal to develop a  a five-unit condo development at 71 South St. in the space that is currently a two-family Victorian. This dense development in JP is a concern outlined in this article from the JP Gazette. If you want to weigh in on the issue, there is a public hearing with the Board of Appeals which will decide whether the zoning variance will be approved or not. 

Page 4 of this document outlines the proposal. The hearing will be January 24 at 9:30 in room 801 at City Hall. If you can't be there for the hearing, you can mail in a response to the proposal, instructions are on the document.
