SHOOTING INCIDENT IN THE AREA OF 3151 WASHINGTON STREET

At about 4:30pm, on Sunday, August 15, 2010, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a person or persons shot in the area of 3151 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain. On arrival, officers located five male victims all suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Three of the victims were transported to the Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, while two were transported to the Brigham & Women’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries as well. Again, all injuries at this time appear to be non-life threatening.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact detectives assigned to Area E-13 at (617) 343-5628.
