What a beautiful boy, and a tragic loss for all those who knew and loved him, and for our community. My hope for those of you grieving is that you may feel, embrace and seek out all that is still beautiful and good around you, your family and friends, and that you carry Jaewon's bright light and sweet love in your heart to help guide you through the rest. All my best-
Debra

To the Martin Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your son, nephew and grandson Jaewon. No one should have to say goodbye to their child this way and as a community we stand with you in sorrow. Our prayers are with you all and we pray also that no other family will have to experience this terrible loss. God bless you and may you find some comfort with each other at this difficult time. Take care, Katherine

I am at a loss of words to express my sadness over Jaewon‘s tragic death. He was a rising, brilliant star, unfairly and unjustly struck down. May his spirit provide guidance as we strive to provide a better, more peaceful environment for kids throughout the city. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart and prayers go out to your family in this time of sorrow. Having lost a close relative to a senseless murder, I grieve with you and challenge you to reflect on his life and celebrate the years that he did have, though cut so short.
