Ever think about becoming a Big Sister?  Now could be the time! Big Sister Association of Greater Boston has been serving girls for 61 years and is commited to helpling girls in the 69 cities, towns, and communities of Greater Boston realize their potential.

Our programs include:

School-Based Mentoring: For women 18+.  This one-to-one mentoring program matches women mentors with girls in elementary school (grades 2-8).  Big and Little Sisters engage in many fun activities during their weekly 45-60 minute visits at the Little Sister’s school or after-school program. We ask Big Sisters to commit to at least one year. Sites are located in different neighborhoods around Boston.

 Community-Based Mentoring: For women 20+.  This one-to-one mentoring program matches women mentors with girls (ages 7-15).  Big and Little Sisters choose when, where and what they do to build a bond based on shared interests and experiences. Visits are weekly and last three to four hours; after you have been together for 3 months, you may meet twice per month. Once you’ve reached your 1 year anniversary, we will continue to encourage and support you and your Little Sister for the life of your match! We ask Big Sisters to commit to at least 12 months.
