Event Description

Put your social skills to work for a worthwhile cause. Beacon Hospice in Boston is looking for volunteers to provide friendly visits and companionship to patients throughout the Greater Boston area. We are specifically in need of volunteers willing to go to Hyde Park, Dorcester, Quincy and Milton.

We provide a comprehensive orientation and training for all volunteers as well as continuing education, ongoing support and supervision. Training will take place on 9/26, 10/3 and 10/10 from 6-9pm. PLEASE CALL TO RSVP FOR TRAINING.

This is a great fit for students looking to build a resume/gain experience in the medical or geriatrics fields, retirees with time to share, and anyone interested in providing companionship to someone in need.
