Beware! Scams through the mail or online!

The below narrative was from a recent police report. There are many variations of this common scam. The FBI has a good website that posts simlar scams. http://www.fbi.gov/cyberinvest/escams.htm

You should always be suspicous of solicitation to online posts or unsolicited mail asking you cash a check and then wire money back.

The bad news is, crimes are still being committed. BPD has stepped up patrols in these areas but they need our help.

Here is the plan Captain Greland and Carolyn MacNeil from… Continue

Video of what some neighbors had to say about Dominos

Neighbors,

On Saturday, I was trying out my new Nokia N96 (AWESOME) and filming what neighbors had to say about Domino's potentially opening up a store at 467 Centre where petal and leaf used to reside.

I interviewed folks I ran into. This in no way should be considered "a scientific study."

Note: There were two people I did speak with who were in favor of a… Continue

Introducing the Work Zone group

Neighbors,

Did you recently loose your job? I did, and it's not pleasant - and sometimes it really sucks.

Fortunately for me, I've had a couple of friends who've "been-there done-that" and helped me craft my plan - but I still have questions and could use a little support.

Can you relate to this?

Would you prefer not to travel this journey alone?

Do you have knowledge to share and questions you'd like answers too?…

Last year, Governor Patrick met with 20 young adults (ages 25-39) from across the Commonwealth to discuss their experiences in Massachusetts, including what they liked about the state and what made them consider leaving to make their home somewhere else. At the end, one participant suggested a website to promote young adult retention and to help the Governor communicate with this cohort- and the Governor agreed. As you will see in the video, the Governor is committed to keeping MA talent here… Continue
