Found, but perhaps not lost? Beautiful cat.

This lovely, handsome cat has been hanging out in our yard and on our deck on Marmion Street for the past few weeks now. He's quite sweet and seems well taken care of, but has no collar and we've never seen him before until recently. He may or may not be lost, but I wanted to put his picture out there in case someone is missing him. If he's yours and you live nearby that's cool too. He's welcome to visit, as our other cats seem totally fine with him.…See More

Attempted home break-in

Hi all,Just a heads up -- someone tried to break into our house (again) on Marmion Street. The broke our back kitchen window but were fortunately thwarted by our alarm system. It would seem they were aware of our schedules as well and know when we are usually home or not. Be aware of anyone suspicious in our neighborhood, and trust your instincts if you see something that doesn't seem right. Also, make sure you have motion-detecting lights. We have them, but apparently they weren't working and…See More

"Okay, now I'm confused... did you lose this cat, or find it? I just saw a flier at Brookside and Cornwall saying "Is this your cat?, if so, call 617-276-7371" but it was the same exact photo."

Looking out for each other, theft from a local business

Hi Neighbors!Last night someone saw fit to steal one of the large ceramic planters from in front of Vee Vee restaurant. This planter was quite heavy and it was a bit of a project to take it, but take it they did, after dumping out the dirt on the sidewalk. It must have taken a while, and it's highly unlikely that no one witnessed this. We don't expect to ever see it again, obviously, but what I'd like to ask of you is this: if you're out and about and see something funny going on, anywhere,…See More
