Car Breaks Weld Hill Area

In the early morning (12/4) there were at least 9 car breaks in the Weld Hill area. So far the only items taken from any of the car breaks was change, even though there were GPS and other items in the vehicles. The time of the breaks probably happened after 5 am, this is likely because the sector car that patrols the area (slowly) with its lights off went off on an arrest shortly before 5 am. Suspect arrested for a breaking into a Motor Vehicle

Last night on the mid-night shift (11/20) a suspect was arrested for breaking into a motor vehicle in the Wyvern Street area. The arrest was made by a car from E-18 assisted by units from E-13. The cruisers were in the neighborhood as a result of car breaks that had been occurring in the area. When the 911 call came in they were only a block away.

T Police and E-13

Some of you may have noticed a Boston Police Officer on a bike teamed up with a T Officer/bike. Lt. Mike Shea, T-Police, and I had been talking about setting this up since I was assigned here back in June. I had one of my officers (Officer Abreu) volunteer for the assignment. I then had to get him certified on the bike and get him special equipment such as an ear piece for his radio, special holster, and riding gear. CAR STOP LANDS TWO IN CUSTODY AFTER POLICE OBSERVE GUNS AND DRUGS IN OPEN TRUNK

Robberry Arrests

Last night (11/3) Officers from the Gang Unit, E-13, along with Officers assigned to the Polls at English High arrested three suspects for robbing a 31 year old male of money and his IPOD. The incident took place in the area of John A. Anrew/Newbern. The suspect's ages were 15,16 and 17 and all are from Jamaica Plain. Attempted Robbery

Last night (11/2) around 10:06 pm, four teen-aged males attempted to rob two females when they were frightened off by a passing vehicle. The incident took place in the area of Amory/Boyleston. The suspects fled towards Washington Street.

Robbery Arrest

On November 1, 2009, around 01:35 am, three suspects were arrested for an armed robbery by means of a firearm. The suspects had robbed the victim of his blackberry. The blackberry was recovered and returned to the victim. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 122 Boyleston Street.The victim was from Dedham and the suspects were from Roxbury.

Suspect in Custody

On 9/26/09 there was a home invasion on Mark Street. Tomorrow Detectives from E-13 will seek an arrest warrant for a suspect that is already in custody for another robbery that occurred on E-13.

Car breaks

There were two reported car breaks last night on District 13. There was no damage reported to either vehicle and both reported that their GPS was stolen. The locations of the incidents were Lamartine Street and Bourne Street. The streets are opposite ends of Forest Hills.

Attempted Robbery

Last night around 11:42 pm officers from district 13 arrested a 21 year old male for attempted robbery. The suspect was in the process of leaving the scene on a bike. The incident occurred in the Egleston Square area. After the officers stopped the suspect, the suspect heard the description of the another suspect broadcast over the officer's radio and said, "that's one of my boys." With friends like this who needs enemies?

Vandalism

Three cars had their windows broken last night. The incidents occured on Parkton, Halifax, and Olmstead. Only one vehicle had anything taken and that was a laptop. The Morning Watch (midnight shift) will increase patrols in these areas.

Vandalism

Last night (Thursday 10/22) between 8:30 pm and 7:30 am today (Friday 10/23) person(s) unknown smashed the car windows of 13 motor vehicles. These incidents happened on Robeson, Olmstead and Glenside Avenue. All of the damage was done curbside. Only one vehicle had anything taken. One of the vehicles had a GPS in it but it wasn't taken and as of right now nobody heard anything.

Person Shot

On Wednesday, 10/07, 2009, around 11:26 p.m., Officers from E-13 responded to the top floor of 279 Centre Street for a report of a person shot. The officers found a victim suffering from an apparent gun shot wound to one of his legs. The victim was transported to the hospital. The suspect was described as wearing dark clothes.
