What are your suggestions on dealing trauma from violence?

The reason behind this is to create a stable and level chemical level (or something like that) in our body as we begin to process…

Residential Breaking & Entering

Area E-13 Detective Division has noticed a pattern in recent residential breaking and entering in the Paul Gore Street area. Two suspects have rung doorbells and have made up names when someone has answered and then walked away. This is a common method to determine if anyone is home before forcing a door open. Unfortunately, no one called 911 when this occurred. Most residential breaks occur during the day when residents are away from home. Call 911 to report this or any other type of… Continue

The below narrative was from a recent police report. There are many variations of this common scam. The FBI has a good website that posts simlar scams. http://www.fbi.gov/cyberinvest/escams.htm

You should always be suspicous of solicitation to online posts or unsolicited mail asking you cash a check and then wire money back.

Stop peeing on my bushes

Listen, I love dogs as much as the next guy. I've owned a dog my whole life - they complete me. However, I am also a homeowner and a big fan of my Japanese-ish styled landscaping. I have worked very hard weeding, pruning, obsessing over my tiny postage stamp of Boston. One afternoon after having just watered said yard, I was sitting on my stoop and a passerby and his dog stopped to admire my garden - and urinate on it.

Neighbors,

In today's (May 15, 2009) Jamaica Plain Gazette, there is an in-depth article titled "Stabbing raises park fears."

While I worked for the Boston Police Department from Feb 2006 to September 2008 - the following is… Continue
