Underscoring this fear, the House of Representatives cut Department of Public Health funding for violence prevention from the FY10 budget that same day.

There are five things I'd like to ask you to do:
1) Read the blog I've posted on the front page called "Swine Flu Facts from Boston Public Heath Commission" which has tons of helpful information and facts on the swine flu -…

Neighbors,
Are you loving this network and would you like to help make it even better?
There are three roles that would really help make this network more welcoming and powerful.

1) Welcomers - welcome people when the join the network and offer to help get them familiar with how it works and where to find what they are looking for and so on.
2) Content Generators - post events, share your thoughts about neighborhood happening via blogs,…

Hi. I was walking my dog on Paul Gore St this past Sunday and your medium sized, whitish dog with shortish, poodle-like hair bit my leg. I am OK but did have an MD take a look. He would like a copy of the dog's vaccination record so that he knows what type of shots I may need. I can be reached at ssalomon@partners.org. Thanks, Stacey

Last year, Governor Patrick met with 20 young adults (ages 25-39) from across the Commonwealth to discuss their experiences in Massachusetts, including what they liked about the state and what made them consider leaving to make their home somewhere else. At the end, one participant suggested a website to promote young adult retention and to help the Governor communicate with this cohort- and the Governor agreed. As you will see in the video, the Governor is committed to keeping MA talent here…
