I'm just getting back to the swing of things after holiday break. I get home from school, and by six, I nod off for about an hour.

I'm happy it's the weekend. I can rest up and be ready for Monday. This week has been fun. My fifth graders asked if they could paint like the guy who splatters paint. After they did some research and could tell me who the artist was, I gave them the tools and some direction. Of course with in five minuets, kids got paint on their shoes, clothes and me. It's… Continue

Since 1983, the city of Boston had elected to apply a residential exemption to residential property that serves as a principal residence of its… Continue

Rhythm & Muse Bookstore plans to add a restaurant/ wine bar this year

Hi all:

This is David, owner/manager of Rhythm & Muse Bookstore. I thought I'd post a little information about our plans to expand the store this year, to incorporate a small restaurant / wine bar. The apartment behind the store became available this fall, allowing us to use the entire first floor. Rhythm & Muse will cease to exist in name only; the current book and music store will become part of the larger business. If anything, we hope the restaurant will allow us to… Continue

Dagal Fund at Citizens Bank

After the very disturbing news of last weeks shooting, I think we should all make an effort to contribute anything we can to the fund for this guys family. They are coming from half way around the world to bury a loved one in a senseless act, we should all show that JP doesn't flow like that. Heres hoping they catch this guy real soon.

I am just outraged that this could happen, and that on that day I probably went by there on my way to Home Depot.

The people at Citizens are very… Continue
