Second Whole Foods Community Forum

Hello N4N,

Wanted to let you know that there is going to be a second forum to discuss the arrival of WF at the location of the former Hi-Lo. It will take place on Feb 28th at 7pm, at the Kennedy School, 7 Bolster Street.

Some who attended the first meeting said afterward that they felt uncomfortable sharing their point of view. We (the JPNC) are disappointed that this was the case, and are working to make sure this next forum feels like a safe place to express ALL points…

Nissan Altima Sideswiped on Beecher St by red / maroon Home Improvement Van

I was just at the dog park at around 10:35 when I witness a maroon / red home improvement van speed down Beecher st and strike a Nissan Altima, shearing off the driver's side mirror of the car. The van drove off faster than I could get the plate number or see exactly what company it was. I do know, however, that I have seen this van parked on Beecher St. in the past weeks

JPNC - Email For Those Who Missed Recent Meeting Regarding Whole Foods

Hello. I was out of town and missed this past JPNC meeting regarding the Whole Foods in Hyde Square. I would like to be able to express my opinion to the JPNC and was wondering if there was a way to do so via email. I know there are various JPNC members here so I thought I would post here for information (and for the sake of anyone else who did not attend the recent meeting).

I see there is an email address on JPNC's website (info.jpnc AT gmail.com) but I was unsure whether…

Can't get an oil delivery on Beecher Street due to parked cars blocking the way

Our oil tank is currently reading empty. I have been unable to receive an oil delivery for 3 days now because the oil trucks can't get down Beecher street due to cars sticking out. In fact, its increasingly difficult to even drive a car down Beecher St right now.

I understand that parking is an issue during the winter in JP, however I would like to ask those of you parked on Beecher street to make an effort to pull your cars in as close to the snow banks as possible.

I ask… Continue
